Due to COVID-19 ARC has cancelled the 2020 ARC Conference scheduled for October 26-28, 2020, Best Western Inn of the Ozarks, Eureka Springs.
We regret that this decision was necessary, but felt it was in the best interest of our speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and attendees to take this action.
Plans are already in the works for the ARC 2021 Conference and we will be making an important announcement soon.
Our next scheduled event will be our 2021 Professional Summit taking place early next year. This will be a six-hour event, so if you are in need of solid waste license credits (CEU’s) this summit is for you.
Check back with the ARC website (www.recycleark.org) in the coming weeks for date, location and time.
Only 7 more days until the deadline!
If you have an outstanding recycling/sustainability program in place, please consider submitting an application, or if you know of a school, company, association, government agency, or individual, in Arkansas who has, please encourage them to apply.
The deadline for submitting an application is July 31, 2020.
Questions, please call the ARC office – 866-290-1429.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the 2020 ARC/VIRCO Professional Summit scheduled for April 2 AT VIRCO, Conway, has been canceled. We regret having to take this action, but believe it is in the best interest of our speakers/attendees/workers/employees. The public will be notified of any future summits.

The unique blend of over 200 members promotes a sharing of ideas and understanding of diverse interests and needs.
Where We Have Been:
The ARC was formed in 1989 in response to the need for comprehensive information and programs on reduce, reuse, recycle, and waste reduction. The original effort was spearheaded by Ozark Recycling Enterprise, Inc. through a Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation grant.
Where We Are Going:
The ARC is committed to assisting members in improving their reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle opportunities, recycle skills and techniques through education, special studies, research and the exchange of ideas and technical knowledge. The ARC has pledged to educate the general public and members of government and the business community about the economic and environmental significance of recycling.
