Conference MRF Tour participants:
Thank you very much for registering for our 22nd Annual Conference MRF tour. Your tour will begin by boarding the Bus in front of the DoubleTree Hotel (circle) at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, Sept 12, for the 2:00 PM Waste Management/Recycle America tour. To be in compliance with Waste Management/Recycle America's safety regulations please do not wear heels or open-toed shoes.

Conference Keynote - We feel very fortunate to have Chad Pregracke, Founder and President - Living Lands and Waters, as our keynote this year. Most everyone has heard about Chad, the guy that cleaned up the Mississippi River, but may not have had an opportunity to hear him speak. Well, now is your chance. If you have not already made your plans to attend this once a year event where we bring industry professionals together to network, learn from the professionals, both locally and nationally, and view state-of-the-art equipment and services at the trade show, now is the time to start making your plans.
Not only do we have some world-class presenters signed on, but we will be offering continuing education credits for attendees, both for the SWANA workshop scheduled for September 12, and for conference attendees.

Awards Program
Outstanding recyclers in Arkansas will be recognized at a luncheon held in their honor during the conference on September 13. So if you have, or know of someone who has, an outstanding recycling program in Arkansas take this opportunity to nominate them for this prestigious award.
SWANA
The Solid Waste Association of North America will be conducting a training workshop during the conference on September 12. So if you are interested in acquiring continuing education credits toward your solid waste license, this one is for you.
Waste Water License
This year, for the first time, we are able to offer continuing education units to conference attendees who hold waste water licenses.
Golf Tournament
A golf tournament will be sponsored on September 12, so get your team together early.
Tour
Be prepared to hop on the bus to take a tour across town to visit Recycle America/Waste Management's MRF Facility. The tour is being sponsored by Regional Recycling & Waste Reduction District.
Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the DoubleTree Hotel in Little Rock, site of the ARC conference, with special rates offered to conference attendees from September 11-14. For reservations call the hotel direct at 501-372-4371 and ask for the ARC Conference Block.
Transportation
The DoubleTree Hotel offers shuttle service to and from the Little Rock Airport.
