ARC Committees

Finance Committee

• Responsible for long-range and strategic planning
• Responsible for financial issues, revenue sources, accounting practices, audits, and budget

Education and Public Relations

• Responsible for identifying opportunities for ARC education through workshops, seminars, etc.
• Responsible for press relations to promote ARC
• Responsible for maintaining exhibits and displays for ARC
• Responsible for developing resources for educational materials and promotion

Membership Committee

• Responsible for recruiting and retaining ARC members
• Responsible for evaluating and developing member services

Fund Raising/ Sponsorship Committee

• Responsible for seeking funding for ARC sponsored events including but not limited to the annual conference, America Recycles Day and workshops

Nominating Committee

• Responsible for monitoring Board make-up and securing replacements for Board vacancies
• Responsible for identifying a slate of officers

America Recycles Day (ARD)

• Responsible for effectively promoting America Recycles Day in Arkansas
• Responsible for providing ARD materials to interested participants
• Responsible for coordinating efforts with the national ARD organization

Conference

• Responsible for all aspects of annual ARC conference including site selection, conference budget, program, registration, publicity, awards program, tours, golf tournament, and exhibit hall
