The ARC site has been transferred to a different web server so you should start to notice better performance than you've had for the last few months.

The classified ads system has finally been updated.  Please let me know of any problems you experience.

Development on the module had be stagnant for several months, but has come back to life recently.  The only thing that ought to be noticeably different is that the expiration notifications should be fixed in the updated version.  I don't think you'll see anything else out of the ordinary.

I've just discovered that our web server has a problem sending a large number of emails and that some of them are getting silently dropped.  That's not very helpful for a new (and increasingly busy) site this this one.

I'm working on a solution and hope to have it implemented shortly.  Will update here when I have more information.

UPDATE: The system should stop throwing emails away now.  I've migrated us to a different mail handler which should be a bit more forgiving than the one used by the web host.  Thanks for your patience.

You can help to debug the new ARC website.  It's easy: just use the site.  If something breaks, head over to the contact form, choose "Website Feedback/Problems" in the Category selector, and be as detailed as possible in your description of the problem and steps to reproduce the issue, if applicable. Your assistance will help to find and fix any final bugs.

Current known bugs:

1. Classified ads system does not email expiration notices.  Status: waiting on a patch from the module developers.  Workaround: keep an eye on your ads and expiration dates until patch time.
2. Image galleries do not show slide shows on some browsers.  Status: This is known to be broken on older browsers.  Modern browsers should be fine.
